The Sunita Williams PTC Enrichment Grant Program provides funding in support of the professional needs and ambitions of our teachers, staff, and school community.

Enrichment Grant Program

Funds support educational enrichment at our school and align with the PTC’s mission to “enrich the education of our children and foster a sense of community at Sunita Williams Elementary School”.  Recipients are required to spend their allocated funds in entirety during the current school year.

We will have three funding cycles during the 2023/2024 academic year.

• Fall (September - November) - Application Deadline: September 22

• Winter (December - February) - Application Deadline: November 22

• Spring (March - May) - Application Deadline: February 22

All requests are evaluated based on the following criteria: 

• Beneficiaries: Number of and impact on beneficiaries is clearly stated.

• Objective: Targets a specific group and explains how the project will impact the group with hands-on learning opportunities (e.g., field trip; math software). 

• Budget: Reasonable budget requested with clearly stated activities; includes clear explanation of benefits, and well-documented cost estimates. 

• Sustainability: Materials requested have an extended lifespan (more than 1 year).
